Cooking
One of the things we love to do at GB is cooking. Last year we tried our hand at making pumpkin soup from the pumpkins we carved, Scottish tablet because we were learning about Ulster Scots, chocolate covered apples as a traditional Halloween treat, rainbow iced buns, chocolate covered strawberries, birds’ nest buns for Easter and other delicious goodies.

Learning about God
We follow the GBNI scripture course each year and complete books which are taken home at the end of the year. Last year was all about ‘God’s promises’ and this year it is all about what ‘We Believe’.

We take the girls away to a weekend camp each year. Last May we headed off to the Scout Centre at Crawfordsburn when we had a fantastic time!
